Alter Servers
To assist the priest and deacon at the alter during various liturgies especially the Mass. They may carry the Sacramentary, the crucifix, candles, and the censer in procession. They may assist the priest in receiving the gifts of the people, bring the bread and wine to the alter, and presenting them to the priest, and remove vessels to the credence table after the Liturgy of the Eucharist.
Arts and Environment
To decorate the Church, for Sunday, Holy Days, special liturgies, and special events. Flowers, banners, alter cloths, and other decorations are coordinated for the event or season .
Community Food Bank of St Martha Church
The Murrieta Food Bank, also known as the Community Food Pantry of Murrieta or simply The Pantry, is sponsored by St. Matha's Catholic Church in Murrieta. Eucharistic Ministers
To assist as extraordinary ministers in distributing Holy Communion at daily, Sunday, special feast day, and Holy Day Masses and in providing Holy Communion to the sick and homebound. Should be a person outstanding in Christian life, in faith, and in morals, one whose mature age warrants the choice, and who is properly trained to carry out so exalted a function.
Greeters
To welcome people to our place of worship as they would welcome friends coming to their home. Distribute Sunday Bulletins after Mass.
Humble Servants of Divine Mercy
Our ministry strives to answer the call of Pope John Paul II, whose challenge for the universal Church was “to make this known to all the peoples of the earth.” We believe this message is not only a devotion but a way of life. We support the staff and other Parish ministries through our prayers and acts of charity. Everyone is invited to pray the Chaplet and perpetual Novena after the weekday morning Mass. Knights of Columbus
The Knights of Columbus is a Catholic men's fraternal benefit society that was formed to render financial aid to members and their families. Mutual aid and assistance are offered to sick, disabled and needy members and their families. Social and intellectual fellowship is promoted among members and their families through educational, charitable, religious, social welfare, war relief and public relief works. Lectors
To proclaim the readings from the Scripture, except the Gospel, to the congregation during the Liturgy of the Word at Mass. In the absence of a psalmist, the lector may sing or read the psalm.m between the readings. In the absence of a deacon, the lector may announce the intentions for the general intercessions. Lectors must be truly qualified and carefully prepared in order that the faithful will develop a warm and lively love for Scripture from listening to the reading of the sacred texts.

The "Caring Community" of St. Martha Catholic Church
The Military Ministry of St. Martha's is here to support the military families of our community. Our goal is to establish a contact list of government agencies four our families and to provide the means to reach our for assistance and support. We honor those serving in defense of national security and freedom. We provide pastoral support to families separated during active duty assignments. We pray regularly for peace in our world and the safety of all American and Allied Troops. Annually, near Veterans' Day, we post photos and bios for members of our parish currently on active duty.

Mothers & Others
Mothers & Others is dedicated to improving the lives of their families and church community. We host monthly fellowship meetings from September through May, every third Tuesday of each month, where guest speakers cover a variety of interesting subjects. We offer more than 15 clubs for our members such as a book club, play group, scrappers club, tennis club, date night and more. Music Ministry
A number of Cantors and Choirs are available at various services to help lead the congregation in this liturgical music: Adult, Children, Contemporary Filipino, Hispanic, Youth, and Young Adult Choirs. All the congregation is encouraged to participate in the liturgical music.
Pray for Priests Prayer Calendar
In celebration of the Year of the Priests, we have put together a Prayer Calendar that lists all the priests in the Diocese of San Bernardino. Each day of this calendar will feature the name of one specific priest. We ask that you visit the calendar daily and say a short prayer for the priest being celebrated that day. We also encourage you to share this calendar with as many people as we can so we can expand this prayer chain to help bless our priests and the many challenges they face today. Sacristans
Responsible for preparing and setting up for each Mass. Ensuring that all the necessary hosts, water, wine, ciboria, chalice, purificators, etc are in place on the credence table. Verifying that all the other liturgical ministries are properly manned and that the presiding priest has everything he needs.

Ushers
To ensure that the Mass and other liturgies proceed smoothly by: seating the congregation quickly and properly; taking up collections; traffic flow before and after Mass and at communion time; managing disturbances; count attendance at each Mass.
Women’s Bible Study
Women’s Bible Study meets on Thursday mornings from 10:00 a.m. -11:30 a.m. in Barnes Hall. Childcare is provided. Our goal is to learn about the bible and how it applies to our lives as family women and community members. Among the topics we have covered are the following: The Bread of Life; The Passion and Resurrection Narratives; Touching the Mysteries of the Rosary; Genesis, Exodus and more.
